Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

California residents and other eligible consumers may use this page to submit a request directing Fortress Loan and Finance LLC to stop the sale or sharing of personal information as those terms may be defined under applicable privacy law.

1. Purpose of this Request Mechanism

Fortress provides this request workflow to help eligible consumers exercise privacy rights related to the sale, sharing, disclosure, or use of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, partner routing, attribution, or other regulated disclosure activities where applicable law grants opt-out rights. Because privacy laws define these terms differently, Fortress will review each request under the legal standards applicable to the consumer and the processing activity involved.

2. What this Request Does and Does Not Cover

A valid Do Not Sell or Share request generally applies to covered disclosures of personal information that may be considered a sale or sharing under applicable state privacy law. It does not necessarily apply to disclosures required to complete a consumer-requested transaction, maintain security, detect fraud, exercise legal claims, comply with law, or perform internal operational activities permitted by statute. It also does not automatically apply to information already lawfully disclosed before the request was received.

3. Verification and Authorized Agent Requests

Before applying request restrictions, Fortress may require information reasonably necessary to verify the identity of the requesting consumer and the legitimacy of the request. Requests submitted by authorized agents may require evidence of written authorization or other legally valid documentation. If we cannot verify the request with reasonable confidence, we may deny or limit implementation as permitted by law.

4. Timing and Response Standards

We aim to acknowledge and process eligible requests within the timeframe required by applicable law. Where additional time is lawfully permitted due to complexity, verification, or operational need, Fortress may extend the response period and notify the requester where required.
